Caran d'Ache Neopastel is a premium oil pastel known for its exceptional artist quality. These pastels offer brilliant, opaque colors that remain vibrant even in thin layers. With their high pigmentation and minimal filler content, they deliver rich, intense color payoff, making them perfect for fine details or large coverage. Caran d'Ache Neopastel is designed to be water-resistant, so it performs beautifully on paper, canvas, wood, glass, and a wide range of other surfaces.
The pastels come in a round shape, measuring 10 mm x 68 mm, offering a soft, velvety texture that doesnโt crumble. You can work with Caran d'Ache Neopastel using various techniquesโwhether you prefer using the point, bevelled cut, or flat side, these pastels are highly flexible. For blending, shading, or detailed work, they dissolve easily in white spirit, allowing for smooth transitions and layered effects.
Caran d'Ache Neopastel is available in 96 colors, all made with extra-fine pigments and inert oil to ensure long-lasting durability and exceptional lightfastness. Each pastel is marked with its color identification number and lightfastness rating, so you know exactly what you're working with.
